Welcome to the Dublin Temple

Welcome to the new website, Aurora Aurea Hibernia (AAH), a website developed for the Irish Temple of The Magical Order of Aurora Aurea (MOAA). MOAA explores the living tradition of the Golden Dawn with Temples and Antica around the world.

For those not in the know; the Golden Dawn is a deeply rooted facet of the modern magic, which in turn has inspired and birthed many other traditions within the Western Mystery Tradition. MOAA enjoys fraternal relations with a plethora of Golden Dawn Orders and Independent Temples around the world, and the Irish Temple shares this fraternal friendship within the island of Ireland with other traditions.

MOAA has run a temple in Dublin in the past however we closed it after too many people driffed off. We are keen to get it up and running again, probably in Dublin where we still have the venues etc. Members of the Temple have, in the past, enjoyed the process of working within a group environment and practicing magic. Temple meetings encompass teaching and magical practice. We are proud to facilitate Anticum meetings for prospective members to help them prepare for initiation and answer any questions that may develop as best we can.

We are proud to develop the Golden Dawn tradition in Ireland, drawing support from notable occultists such as; poet W.B. Yeats, who was an integral part of the original order and subsequent Stella Matutina; George Pollexfen; and other notable Irish figures who were reputed to be members of the original Golden Dawn.
